Peace Gates

The peace walls were initially intended as temporary safety measures to separate predominantly Catholic (Falls Road) and Protestant (Shankill Road) neighbourhoods and now, after The Troubles, have become a stark reminder of the lingering divisions within some communities in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
